Subsystem: Ton and Tol transport systems
This subsystem's description is:
TonB/ExbB/ExbD and TolA/TolB/TolR/TolQ depended systems are composed by
homologous proteins, but those systems have different functions and their genes
constitute different conservative clusters. Pairs of proteins: TolQ-ExbB and TolR-ExbD are highly homologous but can be distinguished as present in different (TonB or TolA clusters). We combined these complexes in one SS for a convenience of an annotation process.
