HYPOTHESIS: At3g13740 and At1g55140 (COG1939: Ribonuclease III family protein) are involved in some aspect of RNA metabolism, potentially in an unknown modification of rRNA in chloroplast

This SS encodes a group of hypothetical genes, which cluster with Cysteinyl-tRNA synthetase and Serine acetyltransferase in Firmicutes and cyanobacteria. Two slightly different forms of this cluster can be distinguished. In Firmicutes (variant code 1) this cluster generally consists of the following PEGs:

A minimal form of this cluster (variant code 3) consisting of only:
COG1939: Ribonuclease III family protein
TrmH family tRNA/rRNA methyltransferase YacO (EC 2.1.1.-)
is present in a few organisms. It may or may not include SerAT and Cys.

The functions of these genes are unknown
